A small Queens crew that grew the right way
IronSky was founded in 2008 by a small group of NYC roofers working out of a single truck in Queens. We started by patching flat roofs and rebuilding parapets for neighbors in Flushing, Astoria and Jackson Heights — and we grew the way every honest trade business should grow: one referral at a time.
Seventeen years later, our crews are on roofs across all five boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester — but the model hasn't changed. We still answer the phone ourselves, still walk every roof before we quote it, and still earn most of our work from repeat customers and word-of-mouth.
